My name is Teresa, and I have always been passionate about  taking care of myself holistically. It begins with proper skin care, makeup, and a healthy lifestyle. My mission is to help you care for your inner and outer self to bring out your best—love, joy, peace, and confidence! 

It all started early in my childhood when I would play with my mother’s makeup on her dresser. As a teenager, I struggled with acne and the scars it left behind. This led me to pursue an education in the aesthetic industry. I earned my license, diploma, and certificate to practice and graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 1988. I began my career working at a makeup counter and spa in Washington D.C. The more experience I gained, the more I realized I was also interested in taking care of all of me, including my inner soul. A healthy lifestyle includes eating nutritious foods, exercise, and holistic self care. 

Three years later I moved to Scottsdale Arizona and pursed a degree in Nutrition. Then back to the east coast! I met the love of my life there, got married, and we started our wonderful family. Tragedy struck, sadly, In 1998. My husband passed away from a brain tumor. Circumstances required me to raise my two sons as a young widow and single parent. I had to put my aesthetic career on hold. In 2012, when my oldest son was appointed to the Air Force Academy and my youngest son was in his sophomore year of high school, I was in a position to return to my passion. I returned to work full-time in the beauty industry.

I held various management positions for designer skin care and makeup manufacturers. In 2014 my youngest son graduated high school and was also appointed to the Air Force Academy. I could now focus on renewing my aesthetician license. I am certified to practice aesthetics, waxing, and makeup, graduating from the Aveda Institute in Washington D.C. with a 4.0 GPA. I worked at a popular spa in Virginia. One of my favorite devices to use on my clients was the hydra facial. I enjoyed my experience and met many wonderful clients. 

Another life challenge presented itself in 2018. I was diagnosed with first stage breast cancer. After deep due diligence I chose to be treated holistically.  I THANK GOD daily because I have been cancer-free since my procedures! This experience brought clarity as to how I wanted to proceed with my life in this new chapter. I wanted to give back to my community. I want to help others thrive even when they are in the midst of life challenges. I wanted to be my own boss. I began doing short-term rentals to allow myself to be freed from the rat race, free to serve. I continued my education and became a certified health coach at the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. 

In 2020 I moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to my two sons, their families and my grandchildren. I believe in continued education and growth as a person. In 2022 I earned a certificate in lash extension and became a certified peel provider.
